How does underfloor heating work?
At Ryan Gas we offer both 'wet' water underfloor heating and 'dry' electric underfloor heating systems. In wet systems, a series of pipes are installed under your flooring, connecting to a boiler. These pipes pump warm water through the room, distributing heat evenly. In dry systems a series of wires heat up. Typically, underfloor heating is installed under tiling, but it can also be used under carpeting provided the pile is not too thick.
